It's allmost time for our last concert of the season. The four-piece concert at the Kraftcentral at Norberg festival was a fantastic show, and we can't wait to give you all our energy and love this saturday at Stubnitz. This concert will be played as the same five-man-band as played Roskilde festival.

Vesterbro Festival + new livedate

The Vesterbro Festival went well, even though we were forced to cut 10 minutes off the show due to delays before we came on stage. But the audience seemed to like us, and we had fun on stage.

The concert spawned yet another live date. We are playing Den Anden Opera July the 6th, as someone in the crowd at Vesterbro liked us and booked us :-)

Roskilde festival: Sunday the 25th of June 19.30

Sweat Box Sessions: Saturday the 8th of July at Den Anden Opera in Copenhagen. I don't know the time yet. Free!

New doublemix by Kværnsten and Kallvattenkranen

Kværnsten and Kallvattenkranen has earlier made two songs based on the same loops called Krigens fremtid/fremtidens krig (meaning The Future of War/War of the Future).

Now Martin and I have done it again. This time the tracks are called Four Little Aeroplanes (in Dansh Fire Små Fly (by Kværnsten) and in Swedish Fyra Små Flygplan (by Kallvattenkranen)).

The tracks are only available at MyMusic right now, but will soon be up at Soundclick as well.

Bobby Blitzkrieg plays Roskilde!

Danish musical mad scientist EX PMX plays at Roskilde Festivals warm up stage, and has invited Bobby Blitzkrieg to join for a part of the show. The official presentation is as follows: Hysterical mix of electronica and rock’n’roll
They say that you can see the deflections on the Richter scale when the mad Danish scientist Ex PMX electrifies his often home-made hell machines. And the steam is certainly blowing when the stripped and rather hysterical mix of electronica and rock’n’roll storms forward like a ill-mannered bastard son of Aphex Twin, T-Rex and Viva La Fete. Ex PMX bases his music on old sound samples but the result is unusually fresh and coarsely indecent. You will be surprised when this cult phenomenon strips the wires and ties his listener to the chair.

How the mad men sounded at their last live performance, can be heard here. The cool Danish circuit-bender MikMo was also part of this show as well as the Roskilde gig.

The coverart is a photo of my grandfather from 1907. He was a very unhappy man...

On this sunny and nice tuesday morning a new Kværnsten-track has been uploaded here and also at www.bobbyblitzkrieg.com

It is a strange drum'n'ambient-track called Ørnen (The Eagle). The title was pretty easy to come up with, as a tv-crew just invaded my home, shooting footage through my window for the Danish tv-series Ørnen/The Eagle.
